Cette série de billets, imprimés entre 1933 et 1958, est la plus belle imprimé par la Banque de France. Elles incluent des billets merveilleux avec des figures allégoriques, ainsi que des scènes rurales françaises et des figures importantes de la science, l'industrie et la politique. Clément Serveau est l'artiste le plus célèbre et prolifique qui représente le mieux cette période.
